Man, I bought my ticket for this show so far in advance that they hadn't announced opening bands yet. I didn't find out until a couple weeks ago that Exodus was also playing!! It's been about two years since I last saw either of these bands, so I was pretty excited to see the show.

Exodus was awesome as always. Rob Dukes came out on stage wearing a Sean Avery NY Rangers hockey jersey, which is pretty sweet considering we're in shitty Leafs town. They played a sweet mix of old and new songs, some of my personal highlights were: Toxic Waltz, Strike of the Beast, Piranha, Blacklist, Iconoclasm.

I was amazed at how Arch Enemy's stage show has evolved over the years. The lighting, the way they incorporated solos (Daniel Erlandsson's drum solo was freaking ridiculous!) and instrumentals, the pacing of the set list. Very awesome show. They played most of the fan favorites of course, and for some reason closed the show with Nemesis, which is an awesome song, but seems odd to finish with.

Remind me not to wear my stupid glasses to metal shows, makes moshing that much harder That will be my first and last time being 'four eyed' at a concert.
